One of the things that I seem to do on a nearly daily basis anymore is renew my dedication to God and offer both gratitude for and analysis of my new life. For so long my focus was dually on God and Galen that at times it is difficult to fathom where I am supposed to be going or what I am supposed to be doing.
However, I have learned that God is never done with us. As often as I renew my dedication to Him, he renews His promises for me. Don't get me wrong. There are times I am totally befuddled by how God can say that I am to be with someone who is so far removed from Godly things and a Godly way of life at this moment in time. God doesn't speak to me much of Galen anymore. But God speaks plenty. Sorry, Suzanne.
God is so good. As I hung out at the barn today with my healthy pregnant horse and my kid, soaking up the sunshine, reveling in the total relaxation available, loving the clear and clean conscious that He has given me for my devotion and dedication to His will for my life, I can't help but be grateful.
Spring is such a wonderful time of renewal. Birds sing. Flowers bloom. And my heart soars.
God is good. All the time.
