Proverbs 19:21 (NIV). Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails....... Thoughts on This Verse... ''What are your plans for today?'' If you are like me, you prayerfully try to plan your day. You make appointments with people in the future so you can address their needs, hear their concerns, or discuss issues and projects. But, we need to always live humbly, recognizing that none of our plans will be of value unless those plans come from the Father!
The more I learn to let God direct my plans instead of directing God to bless my plans, the smoother my days go. Thanks, Tricia, for posting this verse yesterday. It gave me plenty of time to think on things and prepared me for the message delivered from Gad later in the evening.
It is a funny thing how God can hear your wants, and begin to speak on meeting them after we as short-sighted children have moved on to something else.
